清蒸童子鸡 Simply Steamed Chicken

清蒸童子鸡

{材料} 童子鸡 1 只(洗净, 切半), 青葱2束(洗净,打结),姜片3-5片,蒜碎,小红葱碎,青葱丁。

{调味料} 酱油2大匙,水1大匙。

{做法}

1. 鸡用盐和料酒摸全身腌上一个晚上。

2. 蒸盘底部放上青葱和姜片, 放上腌好的鸡以大火蒸上30-45分钟至熟。

3. 蒸的同时,起油锅爆香蒜,红葱与青葱碎,调入调味料煮至沸,熄火备用。

4. 鸡蒸熟后,淋入做法3的酱汁即可食用。

Simply Steamed Chicken

{Ingredients} Whole chicken x 1 (Clean and cut into half), green onion x 2 stalks (Clean and twisted), ginger slices x 3-5, chopped garlic, shallots, and diced green onions.

{Seasonings} Soy sauce x 2 tbsp, water x 1 tbsp.

{Method}

1. Marinate whole chicken with some salt and Shaoxing wine overnight.

2. Put the green onions and ginger slices on the bottom of steam plate, add in marinade chicken to steam under high heat for 30-45 mins till fully cooked.

3. Heat up oil in pan to sauté chopped garlic, shallot and diced green onions, add in seasonings and mix well.

4. Pour over done steamed chicken and serve hot.
